Yes, Ken Theriot’s upcoming album – Outlaws and Bystanders – has been delayed several times – primarily (well, pretty much entirely) due to medical issues. But progress IS being made. Here is the status:
The song “William Tell” is about 95% of the way to being final. The new lead vocal track just needs some final processing, and then there is a guitar accent being added to the beginning of the choruses which needs to be tweaked.
After that, recording sill start on “The Dogs of War.” And when that is in the can, there are 2 more songs that actually still need to be written – “Little Egypt” and “Men of The Isles.” But we already know the drum beat for “Little Egypt,” and Lisa has an idea for the chorus on “Men of The Isles.”
So what is the new estimated release date? We are not going to pick one! We were hoping for a release in time for people to buy it for Christmas, but that’s uncertain. It does seem very likely that it will be out well before Gulf Wars though:).
